B-bonding! Activity! What about both?

[Izuku seems just as amused and he only turns to marvel up at the trees.]

I- I don't know where to start, Kacchan! We'll need to pick the right size so... Ah! Why don't you pick a few to look at first?

[ He heaves a big sigh. Bakugou has no idea if this is a ploy to get him involved or if Izuku really is just that clueless. It could go either way.

So he'll start to walk. Weave between rows of trees and start looking for ones about the right height. ]

You're looking for coverage. Wanna make sure that there aren't bald spots or whatever.

[It's absolutely a ploy to get Katsuki involved... But he also is genuinely curious to see what Katsuki might be drawn to and pick? Plus the walking is nice. He might just slip his hand into Katsuki's hand. Enjoy the walk... Or something!]

A balding tree would be a bad idea. [Funny.] One with full branches and green without any dying brown spots, I'm thinking.

[ Well he can heat himself up thanks to elemental magic, but he won't really say no to Izuku being right there, you know? Katsuki just rolls his eyes in return. He does that so much when Deku is close but hes going to shoo the other away.

And it totally sounds like Izuku is making shit up. ]

Go test how strong the branches are.

[ Not answering that question though. ]

[He looks at Katsuki and then blinks and steps up to the tree and starts poking and pulling gently at the branches. It really is a majestic-looking tree. Full and green and amazing! But it is taller than what might be acceptable.]

This one is really nice, Kacchan.

[He looks over his shoulder at him.]

[ As in check and see if the branches can hold the weight of ornaments!

He sighs, putting both hands in his pockets now. Jerks his head in the direction of where the office must be. ]

So go get an axe. I'll save the damn tree.

[ Yes he knows it's bigger than the standard he set. Don't say shit Deku. ]

[That's what he did!!

Izuku blinks.]

Ah- Are you sure, Kacchan??

[This isn't what they agreed on?! Even if Izuku would like this one...!]

Are you really asking because you want me to rethink this or what?

[Katsuki is going to get the biggest smile ever as he takes off.]

But he's going to wait right here and growl at anyone that comes close to this tree.]

Good job protecting his perfect tree, guard-kacchan. Izuku won't take long before returning with a wave and the axe in hand and a few ropes and what appears to be a wooden dolly type sled. Looks like this place has everything to get this tree back home.]

Kacchan! I've got everything, are you ready?

[Time to take down a tree!]

[ Izuku has absolutely no room to talk.

He does, however, apparently have a sled and an axe. For a moment Katsuki had wondered if the nerd would have that kind of foresight. If not, he could always make one out of ice, he supposes. ]

Yeah, I'm ready. Ready to get the hell out of this cold.

[ Okay please come on and start chopping. ]

[Of course he had the foresight. He also would have just made one out of alchemy if needed.]

I'll make it quick, Kacchan.

[He smiles and moves to get to work chopping!]

[ Part of him wants to ask Izuku if he even knows WOW to chop a tree. But then that feels like a pretty dumb question so he just brings the sled up close so that it should fall. ]

Do it. Imma want something warm when we get back.

[Well how hard can it be to cut down a Christmas tree? Cut it at the base. It's not so huge that he has to hack at it for hours.]

Hm, some tea?

[Chop! Chop! Chop! Working hard!!]

Kacchan, help me catch it properly when it falls.

Or hot chocolate with marshmallows for you since you're such a dweeb.

[ And Izuku would probably be into it, right? Katsuki scoffs, rolling his eyes. ]

[ Which means he's really using a wind spell to help lower it instead. ]

There's nothing wrong with hot chocolate and marshmallows. We could both have some. Maybe you could have some mint in yours.

[Come on. Time to indulge a little bit, Kacchan.

Meanwhile! Down the tree comes! Gently onto the cart thanks to Katsuki's magic. Izuku goes to tie it down. He looks so hyped about this.]

There! I'll secure it!

Why would I want to put mint in my hot chocolate?

[ Cinnamon maybe. Chili powder, sure. But mint? That seems to be a little bit of a stretch.

Katsuki catches the tree and lowers it. He then uses light to make something of a strap for the tree. It's not going to go anywhere. ]

I got it handled. Let's go.

I figured you might want something a little more festive today?

[Cinnamon is just as festive, sure. But so is mint? At least he thinks so.

Once everything is set to go the two of them can start making their way back towards the grounds and home.]

Because we are setting up a tree?

[ And it's going to be something of a trip. However, Bakugou swings by the office and pays for the tree.

Then he pauses. Frowns. ]

Maybe we shoulda got a big one for the center of the refugee camp?

Hm, that's right. Ahh... Maybe we can come back tomorrow for a second one?

[He's actually a little surprised Katsuki's into an idea like that.]

I think that would be nice. Are you ... feeling more festive because of that, Kacchan?

[ Look it's just something that had occurred to him okay? Although - ]

Wait. Do the assholes here even celebrate that sort of thing? Or would they just stare and wonder what the fuck it is that we're doing.

I can't believe I got Kacchan into the festive spirit.

[He's puffing up just a little bit. But then he ponders...]

I don't think they do, actually... But that doesn't mean we can't share a few new customs and traditions with them, ne? It might be fun.
